2009 PRICE LISTS
Please find enclosed your new 2009 trade price list which will become effective from 14 April 2009. Generally our suppliers have raised prices by around 4%, (we actually know of one company, who have been trying to get us to switch to their budget wooden venetians, whose prices have just gone up a whapping 18%!) Having given the matter much consideration, we have tried wherever possible to maintain prices on our core product ranges.
VERTICAL BLINDS
There are no changes to the general prices however we have had to review our silver collection pricing. You will notice that we have now included a 4’ width option on the price list, and the prices will now apply to single blinds and not just 2 or more. We have had to reduce the number of fabrics available, however these are the most popular fabrics over the last 6 months, and with this keen pricing we have to use fast moving designs which we can buy at bulk prices. You should consider that even if you are selling these blinds at a door opening 3 for £90 as I know some areas have to, you are still making about 35% profit including VAT even if all 3 blinds are between 4’ and 6’ wide
ROLLER BLINDS
No change to prices but we have decided to drop the silver collection pricing, our prices though are I believe still some of the best around
DISCOUNTS ON MULTI-BLIND PURCHASES
You will also note that we have a new discount structure for multiple purchases of vertical and roller blinds to help those of you who are quoting for larger commercial jobs. These discounts only apply to the ‘regular’ price lists (ie. Band A,B,C etc) and not to the Silver Collection pricing or any other special offers.
VENETIAN BLINDS
The most popular 25mm slats venetians are unchanged however 15mm, 35mm and 50mm are increased by 5%
TIMBERLUX VENETIANS
No change to prices
SUNWOOD, EXCEL WOOD, SUNVENT, SUNWEAVE
No changes to any prices
PLEATED
There are adjustments to some of the prices, however we have also introduced a multi blind deal on the new EZ Fit pleated blinds for conservatory sides making them excellent value.
FABRICS
You will notice that we have removed several of the previous fabrics from the Silver Collection pricing structure. This decision has been taken for several reasons. We have kept the best selling fabrics on this pricing structure (we obviously have to move a certain amount of blinds to be able to buy the fabric in bulk at the best price and then turn it around quick to enable us to offer at the low prices). We’ve also added a couple of fire resistant commercial fabrics and also plain fabrics from the Decora and Eclipse fabric presenter.
You will also notice that ‘Tikori’ is missing from the Silver collection pricing list. Although Tikori is still available we have decided, due to it’s ever increasing price and often questionable quality to introduce Atlantis as an alternative plain stitchbond option.
For those of you with ‘Riva Fabrics’ presenter books, you will find enclosed a revised fabric listing with price bands.
Swatches for the new Silver Collection fabrics are enclosed.
NEW DECORA FABRIC BOOKS
The new Decora fabric books are due for launch on 1st May. These are going to be one presenter containing vertical and roller blinds, and I am told that the range is brilliant (this was from a Decora salesman though so I’ll make up my own mind when I see them). We are getting a preview next week and will hopefully have some photos of the collection available for you to look at on this site after the Easter break.
Incidentally this site will also shortly include a link to download a recommended retail price list just as soon as I get this done and will hopefully also be posted with other useful information and special offers.

OFFER FABRICS
We seem to be having major stock issues with our special offer fabrics. Both Amaris and Opus have gone out of stock on the cream/beige colours for long periods due to demand.
As we can't tolerate the delays which this is causing we will be launching new fabrics for our band 1 silver collection as soon as possible.
Details will be posted here as soon as availale and samples will follow with the next newsletter.
Amaris and Opus fabrics will still be available however they will be increasing in price.
